🗳️ MUNICIPAL ELECTION 2026 – CANDIDATE FILING INFORMATION 🗳️
The City of West Fork will have SIX positions on the ballot for the November 3, 2026 Municipal Election:
• Mayor
• City Clerk
• One Council Seat from each Ward (4 total)
📅 Important Dates:
✔️ First Day to Circulate Petitions: May 7, 2026
✔️ First Day to File: July 29, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
✔️ Last Day to File: August 5, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
✔️ Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
📋 Documents Required for Filing:
1️⃣ Nominating Petitions
(Filed with the County Clerk)
• Cities of the 1st Class require at least 30 qualified signatures
2️⃣ Political Practice Pledge
3️⃣ Affidavit of Eligibility
(Nominating Petitions, Political Practice Pledge, and Affidavit of Eligibility must all be filed at the same time.)
4️⃣ Statement of Financial Interest
(Filed with the City Clerk/Recorder no later than August 10, 2026)
• Required for NON-INCUMBENT candidates only
5️⃣ Campaign Contribution & Expenditure Reports
(Filed online with the Arkansas Secretary of State)
The above forms can be picked up at the City Administration Building at 164 N Centennial Ave.
