CITY WIDE CLEAN UP INFORMATION

15 days ago, City of West Fork
Flyer
The City of West Fork would like to provide factual information and context regarding the current discussion surrounding proposed annexation areas in our community.

Over the past several years, the City of Greenland has continued to pursue annexation efforts expanding toward the
City of West Fork and surrounding growth areas. These efforts are documented through multiple ordinances and
proposed annexation maps.

• Annexation election ordinance #374 passed in March 2024.
• Annexation election ordinance #375 passed in March 2024.
• November 2025, annexation election ordinance #402 did not pass during the election process.
• Greenland is now preparing another annexation election ordinance for the November 2026 election, that includes
the previously rejected property as well as additional land extending south into areas that West Fork has
proposed for annexation.

The City of West Fork believes it is important for residents and property owners to have access to accurate information
and documented evidence regarding these ongoing annexation efforts. The attached maps, labeled with the
corresponding ordinance numbers, are provided for public reference and transparency.

Our goal remains to protect the future growth, planning, infrastructure, and long-term interests of the City of West Fork
and the citizens we serve.

We encourage all residents to review the information carefully and stay informed as these discussions continue.

🚰 Water Conservation Notice for West Fork Customers 🚰

Beaver Water District has scheduled work to relocate transmission lines that supply water to our area. This is currently planned for March 31, April 2, and April 18.

Please note: these dates are tentative and may change. However, customers should plan on these being the scheduled dates unless otherwise notified.

During these times, water service will continue, but supply will be reduced. There are no plans to completely shut off water, and if everything goes as expected, most customers should not notice a major difference.

However, because only one line will be operating during parts of this work, we are asking all West Fork water users to voluntarily conserve water to help maintain system stability.

👉 Please avoid non-essential water use during these dates, including:
• Lawn irrigation
• Filling pools
• Washing vehicles

Your cooperation will help ensure we can continue providing reliable service to everyone in our community.

We appreciate your help and understanding! 💧

A message from SWEPCO:

I wanted to share that today we launched Pay as you Go, a new flexible payment option across our Arkansas service territory that allows customers to manager their bills in real time without credit checks, deposits, late fees or rigid monthly bills. This new program is available because of the recent smart-meter upgrades SWEPCO completed in Arkansas that allow customers to see their usage in real time. This prepay program allows customers to add funds to their account as they choose and receive daily updates on usage and their remaining balance so they can stay in control of their budget.

This program is for both new and current customers and can be activated with just $40 put in the prepay account and will stay active as long as there is one cent or more in their Pay as You Go account. This program is available for customers with outstanding balances and helps them pay down balances over time as well.

Please feel free to share this in your community and let me know if you have any questions. My cell is: 479-305-6327.

Here are some program highlights:

No Deposit Required: Customers may enroll without a security deposit or credit check.
Support for Past-Due Balances: Payments are automatically applied using an 80/20 split—80% toward future energy use and 20% toward existing past-due amounts.
Daily Balance & Usage Updates: Participants receive real-time alerts on remaining account balances and electricity usage.
Flexible Payment Options: Customers can make payments online or in person at any time, without receiving a standard monthly bill.
Eligibility is available to most Arkansas customers who have a qualifying advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) smart meter installed.

For program details and enrollment information, visit SWEPCO.com/PayAsYouGo.
